    Pisang Peak is easy climbing peak in Nepal roughly placed in between giant Annapurna I and Mount Manaslu both over eight thousand meter mountains. It is 6091 miters peak rise above the Pisang village of Manang Nepal. Climbing itinerary is combining of world famous Annapurna Circuit Trekking. We also visit famous Muktinath temple crossing through Throrong La pass. Pisang peak base camp lies in big pasture land at altitude of 4,380 miters, which is considered as best place to fix the camp and spend overnight. An extra day is spending here with climbing training and managing gears. The high camp setup at the altitude of 5,400 miters will be snow from end of November till March month.

    18 days Pisang Peak itinerary is including some exploration of heritage sites in Kathmandu valley. You will have enough preparation time and meeting with your team including climbing sardar in Kathmandu. Trip starts driving to Dharapani via Besisahar. 3 days trekking from Dharapani reach at Pisang peak base camp. An extra day here for familiar climbing training with our guide. Training is including some technical knowledge and familiar with your climbing gears. Heading next day to Pisang Peak high camp and overnight at camp. Summiting of Pisang peak is about 8 to 9 hours from high camp and down to the base camp same day. From base camp, we have option either same way back to Kathmandu or further trekking towards Thorong La pass and Muktinath Jomsom. 

    The best season for Pisang peak climbing is from March to May and September to November month. It does not require previous experience of other peak climbing but physically fit and previous trekking experience is helpful to get success.     • Day 01:Arrival at TIA airport of Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel and Overnight 1350m
    • Day 02:Day in Kathmandu. Sightseeing and trip preparation. Overnight at hotel
    • Day 03:Drive to Dharapani via Besisahar (11/12 Hours - 1960m) Overnight at local tea house
    • Day 04:Trek Dharapani to Chame (5/6 Hours - 2670m) Overnight at local tea house
    • Day 05:Trek Chame to Upper Pisang (3300 meters) - 6 hrs. Overnight at tea house
    • Day 06:Trek Upper Pisang to Pisang Peak Base Camp (5 Hours - 4,380m) Overnight at tent
    • Day 07:Acclimatization and climbing training in Pisang Peak Base Camp. overnight at tent

    • Day 16:Fly back to Pokhara. Sightseeing and overnight at Hotel
    • Day 17:Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel (6/7 Hours - 1350m)

    • Day 02:Day in Kathmandu. Sightseeing and trip preparation. Overnight at hotel

      After your breakfast, our tour guide leads you to sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. We cover three major highlights which are UNESCO heritage sites. Bhaktapur Durbar Squire, Old king palace with living arts and architectures. Bauddhanath Stupa, A biggest Buddhist stupa. Pashupatinath temple, a Biggest Hindu temple. Come back to hotel and final preparation of trekking and climbing. Introduce with your staff team. 

    • Day 03:Drive to Dharapani via Besisahar (11/12 Hours - 1960m) Overnight at local tea house

      After breakfast in Hotel, start driving to Dharapani. Driving is through well paved road to Besisahar and mountain dusty road to Dharapani. it is about 5 hours driving to Besisahar and rest of the hours about 6 to Dharapani via typical villages and scenic land. Dharapani is big village at Manang valley. 

    • Day 04:Trek Dharapani to Chame (5/6 Hours - 2670m) Overnight at local tea house

      It is short walking day today with enjoyable Mountain peaks, waterfalls and beautiful landscape. After 4 hours of walking, reach at Chame and take your lunch here. Chame is the headquater of Manang district having nice lodges comparatively your previous days. You can hike around the village, if you go little further from town, there lies two small hot springs 

    • Day 05:Trek Chame to Upper Pisang (3300 meters) - 6 hrs. Overnight at tea house

      Walk through the dense forest along with bank of Marshyangdi River enter narrow valley. The scenic view of crops land and mountains during this walk. After 6 hours of walking reach at Upper Pisang. Village is surroundings with some of the lod monasteries. 

    • Day 06:Trek Upper Pisang to Pisang Peak Base Camp (5 Hours - 4,380m) Overnight at tent

      We begin our trek after breakfast towards the Pisang Peak Base Camp. We ascend on a trail that passes through a thin forest and grasslands. The big pasture is used for grazing yaks and is also the best place to set up our camp. The ground is flat and falls on a frequented trail. Overnight at the Pisang Peak Base Camp in tented camp.

    • Day 07:Acclimatization and climbing training in Pisang Peak Base Camp. overnight at tent

      Day of acclimatization at high altitude before heading towards High camp. Our guide will arrange a climbing training which help to learn some climbing Technic and being familiar with your climbing equipment. Staying in this base camp is at flat land of pasture field. you will enjoy day with scenic landscape and Himalayan views. Be ready for heading towards high cam next day. 

    • Day 08:Trek Pisang Peak Base Camp to High Camp (3/4 Hours - 5,400m) Climbing training and overnight at Camp

      We ascend on the south-west ridge and reach the high camp. After setting up our camp, we participate on a basic climbing training. Our climbing guide will provide you training of climbing technique and make again familiar with your climbing equipment. We believe that this kind of training build confident in your climbing skill.   

    • Day 09:Reserve Day

      Reserve day is one spare day for climbing. in case of bad weather or any other reason if you are not able to climb peak in our schedule day today can be helpful. If we are able to make it as per schedule, we can spend this day either some place in mountain of in Kathmandu. It can be decide on the way talking with our guide 

    • Day 10:Climb Pisang Peak (6,091m) and back to base camp (8 to 9 hours). Overnight at tent

      Very early in the morning start climbing Pisang peak. Follow the trail as fixed rope fixed by our guide. Climbing route is mostly rocky and 90 degree so that most of the time no any snow. Reach from where you can explore an extra ordinary views of the Annapurna ranges and other mountains. come back to Pisang peak base camp for overnight. 

    • Day 11:Trek Pisang Peak Base Camp to Manang (6 Hours - 3,450m) Overnight at loal tea house

      From the base camp of Pisang peak we trek towards Pisang village. From Pisang there are two routes to Manang. We choose the one which passes through Upper Pisang via Geru as it guarantees outstanding views of Mt. Annapurna, Pisang Peak, and others. As we walk near Manang the climate becomes more cold and dry. However, a short visit to Barge Monastery, the biggest monastery in the Manang District

    • Day 12:Trek Manang to Yak Kharka (4,000m) - 5/6 hrs. Overnight at tea house

      After acclimatization at Manang we get good energy to cross about 500 miter ascending. We make the climb steadily through Tenki, leaving the Marshyangdi Valley. Continuing along the Jarsang Khola Valley. Reach at Manang, there we see the vegetations steadily more sparse 

    • Day 13:Trek Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,450m) - 5 hrs. overnight at tea house

      After a two hour ascent, the trail descends to cross the river at 4,310m. We then climb up to Thorong Phedi at 4,450m where decent guesthouses have been built in the recent years. An option, we also can reach at High camp. It is depend on availability of tea houses

    • Day 14:Trek Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,800m) passing Thorung-La pass (5,416m) - 8 hrs. overnight at tea house

      Today is a long trek starting before sunrise at 4 am to reach the pass by 9-10am because of ater mid day, heavy windy hit, which might greatly affect the journey, particularly at the Thorung La Pass (5,416m). We climb steeply on a regular route which is quite easy to follow. However, some problems may arise due to the altitude and snow. About four hours climb up to the pass marked by the chortens and prayer flags will reward us with stunning views from the top of the pass. Another four hours of walking down will take us to the holy town of Muktinath. Overnight here

    • Day 15:Trek Muktinath to Jomsom (2,700m) 4/5 hrs. Overnight at tea house

      This day, trail goes down to the Kali Gandaki gorge. Kali Gandaki is the deepest gorge in the world which is situated between the Annapurna (8091m) and Dhaulagiri (8167m) peaks. Visit Jharkot village. Olest monastery, with typical settlement. continue trek down to Jomsom. Option to explore old museum at the top of village. 

    • Day 16:Fly back to Pokhara. Sightseeing and overnight at Hotel

      Early in the morning, take 15 minutes flight to Pokhara from Jomsom. After check in hotel and fresh, sightseeing in major attraction in Pokhara. International mountain museum, David falls, Gupteswor cave and boating at Fewa lake. 

    • Day 17:Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel (6/7 Hours - 1350m)

      Drive with tourist bus to Kathmandu from Pokhara. it is 6/7 hours driving via prithivi highway. Reach at Kathmandu, pickup you from bus station and transfer to Hotel. Evening dinner with Nepal Highland Trek team at Nepali cultural restaurant. 

    • Day 18:Departure

      Today is the day of final departure. It is important to reach at Airport before 3 hours from your original flight time. our representative will assist you up to Airport.
