The Kingdom of Bhutan lies in the eastern Himalayas in South Asia. Landlocked country Bhutan is bordering China to the north, India to the south, east, west, and very near to Nepal. The country landscape ranges from subtropical in the south and the subalpine Himalayas in the north. Thimpu is the capital of Bhutan. It is a foundation member of the (SAARC) South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation. Bhutan as a Buddhist kingdom within the Himalayas range is a famous destination for foreign tourists. Popular Mountain Jomolhari (7326m) and other mountain peaks are popular for trekking. Buddhist Dzongs and important monasteries including Taktsang Monastery in Paro (Known as Tiger’s Nest) are the lists of most visiting in Bhutan.

How to get Bhutan?
Bhutan is having only one International airport at Paro city. International flights from Kathmandu Nepal, Bangkok, Delhi, Mumbai, Bagdogra, Kolkata, Guwahati, Singapore, and Dhaka reach Paro airport. Road entry from near Siligudi India to Phuentsholing city is the best option for driving.

Visa of Bhutan
Bhutan visa for tourists is an issue by the Royal Government of Bhutan. It is paper visa approval with which you can enter from the immigration of Bhutan. Nepal Highland Treks can handover your printed visa paper or send it to your mail. You should go through registered travel or trekking company to receive Bhutan visa and travel permit. We are also a registered Nepali trekking company and authorized to apply for Bhutan travel permit.
