Latter another surveyor Nicolson proved the fact that the next peak near Kanchanjunga is taller than it is Mount Everest but the name was not given. It was not complete work by him, due to Malaria in Nepal; he forced to return back. Finally the uncompleted tack of Nicolson completed by Indian mathematician and surveyor Radhanath Sikdar in 1852 based on a calculation done by Nicolson. Radhanath Sikdar was the first to discover the world’s highest peak.
