Equipment of personal packing list for Everest Base Camp Trekking is less than you are thinking. You do not need any camping gears neither climbing equipments. Everest Base Camp Trekking is classical trekking staying in local tea houses and it is non technical. Although your packing list depends which time of the year your are trekking. The main season of trekking in Everest region is from March to May and September to November. Although it is charm to trek in the season of winter from December to February.  

General packing list of your equipment

trekking bag for you is one small and comfortable back caring bag, where you can easily can put your valuable goods, one extra pair cloth, water bottle, camera and any dry foods you love to take during day. Another big bag goes to your porter. This bag get you back every day at evening in guest houses and let porter carry once you star trekking.

Shoes and Shocks
You need comfortable warm shoes for trekking. It is also better to have water proofed but not compulsory. Another spare shoe or sandal is needed to wear while staying at guest house. 3 pairs of warm shocks is enough for entire trip. You can wash it in middle of your trekking.

Above trekking equipment can find in Kathmandu Thamel. Once you land at Kathmandu, you can check your goods and plan to buy it. There are genuine trekking shops near at your hotel in Thamel area.

Porter to carry your goods

You will get 1 porter for 2 pax trekkers from Nepal Highland treks. Porter normally carry 25 kilogram in total. Since you are flying with tiny air craft to Lukla for your Everest Base Trekking, there are only allow of 10 kg big bag and another 5 kg your hand bag. The above equipments are normally needful during 12 days Everest Base Camp Trekking Itinerary. Same types of packing list is for similar other trekking like Annapurna Base Camp Trekking, Upper Mustang Trekking, Gokyo lake Trekking or any other Trekking in Nepal which are more than 10 days and reaching over 4,000 miter altitude.

Documents and papers
You do not need to bring any documents for Everest Base Camp Trekking. Guide from Nepal Highland Treks will have your permit and TIMS card along with your passport photocopy. It is better to deposit your original passport at your hotel locker to make it safer. At the end of trekking you can ask guide to handover your trekking permit to keep it as souvenir. Our guide normally do it in every trips.
