    Jomsom Muktinath Poonhill Trekking is the lowland trekking destination in the Annapurna region. It is including multicultural villages, multi-cultures of local peoples, scenic greenery, and a Tibetan plateau landscape with panoramic mountains and the best sunrise viewpoints. A 13-day trekking plan includes sightseeing at the UNESCO heritage site in Kathmandu as well as exploring major attractions in Pokhara. Starting days of trekking are with a dense forest inside a greenery landscape. Himalayan views are starting to see from Pokhara and it will be stunning in Ghorepani Poon Hill. Another section of Jomsom and Muktinath is different landscapes and Tibetan cultural settlements. Oldest monasteries, picturesque Tibetan plateau landscape, Holy Muktinath Temple, huge apple field, and of course Himalayan views.

    You will have enough time to prepare for your trekking in Kathmandu. Our plan in this itinerary is to drive to Pokhara with a tourist bus from Kathmandu. You have the option to drive with a private car or take 25 minutes flight. Pokhara, the Natural city of Nepal is a panoramic mountain of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri range, Fishtail, and more. Boating at beautiful lakes can spend a relaxing time here. The first day of trekking is to drive to Nayapool and start trekking to Ulleri village. Ghoreani village on our second-day trekking is panoramic with huge mountains from very near. Early in the morning climb to Poon Hill (3210m) is the best option to view Panoramic Mountain and sunrise.

    The next section of Jomsom Muktinath Poonhill Trekking reaches toward barren land at Buddhist cultural villages. Reach at Tatopani, can spend memorial time, and take a bath in the natural hot spring. Typical Tibetan cultural villages on the way like, Kobang, Tilicho, Ghasa, Marpha, Jomsom, Kagbeni, Jharkot, and Muktinath. Every day is not only trekking, but exploring around village, get touch with local people, know their lifestyle and cultures is also part of this trekking. The trekking ends at Jomsom after exploring Muktinath temple at the lap of Thorong La Himalayas. We then take a fly back to Pokhara. Jomsom Muktinath section from Tatopani to Muktinath and back to Jomsom has the option to do a driving tour.

    • Day 01:Arrival at Tribhuban International Airport, Kathmandu (1350m). Overnight at Hotel
    • Day 02:Day in Kathmandu. Sightseeing and trip preparation. overnight at Hotel
    • Day 03:Drive to Pokhara (6 Hours - 710m). Overnight at Hotel

    • Day 02:Day in Kathmandu. Sightseeing and trip preparation. overnight at Hotel

      After your breakfast, our tour guide leads you to sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. We cover three major highlights which are UNESCO heritage sites. Bhaktapur Durbar Squire, Old king palace with living arts and architectures. Bauddhanath Stupa, A biggest Buddhist stupa. Pashupatinath temple, a Biggest Hindu temple. Come back to hotel and final preparation of trekking. Introduce with your guide and porter 

    • Day 03:Drive to Pokhara (6 Hours - 710m). Overnight at Hotel

      Early morning breakfast in your Hotel. Take a Tourist bus to Pokhara about 6-7 hour drive via scenic Prithivi Highway enjoying short stops for lunch and scenic beauty all the way around. check in to the hotel, after freshen up, you will be free to explore Lakeside Pokhara. In Option you can take private car (6 Hours) or flight (25 minutes) to make comfortable trip 

    • Day 04:Drive to Nayapool and Trek to Ulleri (7 Hours - 1960m) Overnight at tea house

      Drive 1 and half hour to Nayapool, start trekking for 5 hours through river, local villages and forest. It is flat and easy walking till Tikkhedhunga (1540m). Than our walking reach to one of the tough uphill towards Ulleri (1960m). Annapurna South and Himchuli view just spectacular from here. Check in local tea house. 

    • Day 05:Trek to Ghodepani (4 hours - 2860m). Overnight at tea house

      Ulleri its self is magnificent view of Annapurna South and Himchuli. Our walking about one hour through Ulleri and Banthanti village. We than enter very dick forest where we can see some beautiful waterfall. We reach Ghorepani (2860m) by our lunch time. Take your lunch at local tea house. It is depending on us, we might walk to Poonhill (3210m) to view sunset with and panoramic Himalayas. 

    • Day 06:Morning hike to Poonhill (3210m) and trek to Tatopani (7 Hours - 1170m) overnight at tea house

      Climb to Poonhill early in the morning. From here you will see a superb view of the sunrise and a panoramic view of the Himalaya, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and others. After visiting Poonhill, we will come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and continue walking to Tatotapni. You can enjoy bathing at natural hotspring in Tatopani. 

    • Day 07:Trek to Ghasa (5/6 Hours - 2,100m) Overnight at local tea house

      Trekking trail all the way follows the Kali Gandaki river. Continuing along to Dana village, Rupse Chahara, Huge and beautiful waterfall and Kopchepani, the trail further ascend to Ghasa village. Ghasa village is small village having Annapurna Conservation office.  

    • Day 08:Trek to Marpha (6 Hours - 2,650m) Overnight at tea house

      There is different trail for trekking although trail sometime meets rough road. Meets Tukuche, Largung and Lete. Unique suspension bridges over kaligandaki and Lete rivers. Deepest valley with few typical villages and time to time view of Himalayas makes this trail unforgettable. Marpha is Thakali village have big monastery at top of the village. Marpha is capital of Apple field too. 

    • Day 09:Trek to Kagbeni (5/6 Hours - 2,810m) Overnight at tea house

      Trek to Kagbeni village. 5 to 6 hours trekking trail passing through Kali Gandaki River, Jomsom village and Eklebhatti. Exploration around Kagbeni village. Oldest Monasteries, local village, peoples and reach up to boarder of Upper Mustang. 

    • Day 10:Trek to Muktinath (5/6 hours - 3,800m) Overnight at tea house

      It is short distant trekking from Kagbeni to Muktinath. Since we assent almost 1000 miter, walking slowly with enough rest in recommend. The panoramic mountain of Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri are shine from on the way walking. Visit Jharkot village on the way which consist of Oldest monastery and Lama school. Once you reach at Muktianth, visit holy Muktinath temple and around 

    • Day 11:Trek back to Jomsom. overnight at tea house

      Morning sights of Muktinath and sunrise at scenic landscape. After your breakfast, start trek. It is all the way down same route via Kaligandaki River valley till Jomsom. You can hike to Mountain museum at top of Jomsom village. Nilgiri South, Nilgiri West, Nilgiri middle and Jomsom airport view seems very scenic from here. 

    • Day 12:Fly back to Pokhara. half day sightseeing and evening fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel

      Early in the morning, fly back to Pokhara. Take half day sightseeing in Pokhara. Boating at Fewa Lake, Visit Talbarahi temple, International mountain museum, David falls and Gupteswor cave. Late afternoon fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel 

    • Day 13:Departure

      Till departure time, free. We drop you to international airport for your final departure. As per rule, you have to be there before 3 hours.

    Foods in the trip
    All the foods are including in the cost during trekking days. Lunch and Dinner is extra while you are in Kathmandu and in Pokhara (Main cities). There are good restaurants to take Lunch and Dinner in Kathmandu. all the foods during trekking is from local restaurant. There will be hygienic and good foods entire the trip. you can choose it from menu.

    Accommodation in the trip
    While you are starting in Kathmandu and Pokhara, we are providing you twin sharing rooms in 3 star category hotels. During your trekking, accommodation is in local tea houses on twin sharing room. We can provide you attached toilet rooms in most of the places during this trek.  

    Drinks in the trip
    Bottled mineral water is available in entire trekking and tour. Other hot drinks are available tea house and you can meet tea houses in every hour time.

    Staffs in the trip
    There will be professional tour guide during your tour in Kathmandu valley. Professional trekking guide will lead your trekking. He is professional, English speaking and friendly. Porter in the trekking is to carry your luggage. You will meet your guide and porter in Kathmandu before starting trekking.
