    Jomsom Muktinath Trekking is easy and short days of trekking in Nepal can be completed by anybody with a moderate level of fitness. Trek reaches a maximum altitude of 3,800 meters of Muktinath temple. Trekking starts after a short-duration flight between Pokhara Jomsom. Barren landscape with a panoramic mountain of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Nilgiri, Tukuche Peak. An attractive apple field, settlement of Tibetan Buddhist cultural peoples, and the deepest Kali Gandaki River valley make this trek a variant experience. Jomsom Muktinath region is also called the Lower Mustang region.

    Our 11-day trekking plan includes exploration of UNESCO heritage sites in Kathmandu as well as visiting major attractions in the Natural city of Pokhara. 5 nights and 6 days of trekking start after flying to Jomsom from Pokhara. 15 minutes flight itself is a scenic scene of green hills, Huge Mountains, Rivers, and a plateau landscape. The first day of the trek reaches Kagbeni village. Kagbeni village got the oldest monasteries, typical settlements, and activities to explore. It is also the gateway to Upper Mustang Trekking. The landscape is already started as the Tibetan plateau from here. The next day, trek up hills to Muktinath which is 3,800 meter altitudes. A famous pilgrimage site, Muktinath Temple is at the lap of a high hill. Trekking back to Marpha village via the same way down crossing Kagbeni and Jomsom. Marpha village island of Apple. You can see the beautiful apple field if you reach there in the season of September, October. Peoples from this village is Thakali having mixed cultures between Nepali and Tibetan. The oldest monastery at the top of the village is the main attraction. Small but typical houses are picturesque.

    The whole trekking region is connected by a rough road of 4-wheel jeeps and local buses. It is having the option to take the rest of the trip with a drive all the way back to Pokhara. Still trekking the trail it is interesting to Ghasa village and reach Tatopani the next day. Tatopani has a natural hot spring, you can spend your evening at hot spring ponds side of Kali Gandaki River. Explore around and hanging around the Lake Side of Pokhara is another interesting activity on this trip. Pokhara gives panoramic mountain views of the Annapurna region, the Dhaulagiri region, Fishtail, and the other Himalayas. Get a boating tour in beautiful lakes Fewa and Begnas. Another option is to hike or drive to World Peace Pagoda, visit the international mountain museum, David Falls, and Gupteswor Mahadev Cave.

Short and easy trekking to Muktinath Jomsom can customize for even shorter days of trekking.     • Day 02:Sightseeing in kathmandu UNESCO heritage sites. overnight at hotel

      After your breakfast, our tour guide leads you to sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. We cover three major highlights which are UNESCO heritage sites. Bhaktapur Durbar Squire, Old king palace with living arts and architectures. Bauddhanath Stupa, A biggest Buddhist stupa. Pashupatinath temple, a Biggest Hindu temple. Come back to hotel and final preparation of trekking. Introduce with your guide and porter.

    • Day 03:Drive to Pokhara (6/7 Hours) 827m. Overnight at Hotel

      Early morning breakfast in your Hotel. Take a Tourist bus to Pokhara about 6-7 hour drive via scenic Prithivi Highway enjoying short stops for lunch and scenic beauty all the way around. check in to the hotel, after freshen up, you will be free to explore Lakeside Pokhara. In Option you can take private car (6 Hours) or flight (25 minutes) to make comfortable trip 

    • Day 04:Fly (15 minutes) Pokhara to Jomsom and Trek to Kagbeni (3 Hours - 2,810m) Overnight at Guest House

      Drive early in the morning to Pokhara airport. Jomsom flight is always start from very early in the morning. it is 15 minutes flight. After reaching at Jomsom Airport, start trek to Kagbeni village. 3 hours trekking trail passing through Kali Gandaki River, Jomsom village and Eklebhatti. Exploration around Kagbeni village. Oldest Monasteries, local village, peoples and reach up to boarder of Upper Mustang. 

    • Day 05:Trek Kagbeni to Muktianth (4 Hours - 3,800m). Overnight at tea house

      It is short distant trekking from Kagbeni to Muktinath. Since we assent almost 1000 miter, walking slowly with enough rest in recommend. The panoramic mountain of Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri are shine from on the way walking. Visit Jharkot village on the way which consist of Oldest monastery and Lama school. Once you reach at Muktianth, visit holy Muktinath temple and around   

    • Day 06:Trek Muktinath to Marpha (6/7 Hours - 2,650m) Overnight at tea house

      Morning sights of Muktinath and sunrise at scenic landscape. After your breakfast, start trek. It is all the way down same route via Kaligandaki River valley till Jomsom. take another 7 kilometer trekking to Marha village. Marpha village is capital of Apple field. very typical houses and picturesque here. Unique and old monastery at top of village will be interesting to explore. You can try apple pie and Apple brandy made locally.    

    • Day 07:Trek Marpha to Ghasa (6/7 Hours - 2,100m) Overnight at tea house

      There is different trail for trekking although trail sometime meets rough road. Meets Tukuche, Largung and Lete. Unique suspension bridges over kaligandaki and Lete rivers. Deepest valley with few typical villages and time to time view of Himalayas makes this trail unforgettable. Ghasa is small village having local tea houses. you can feel very warm welcomed from local peoples.   

    • Day 08:Trek Ghasa to Tatopani (5/6 Hours - 1,170m) Overnight at local tea house

      Trekking trail all the way follows the Kali Gandaki river. Continuing along to Dana village, Rupse Chahara, Huge and beautiful waterfall and Kopchepani, the trail further decent to Tatopani village. Enjoy bath at natural hot spring.  

    • Day 09:Trek Tatopani to Beni and Drive back to Pokhara. overnight at hotel

      It is all the way down trekking almost via dusty road to Beni. You also have option to take local transportation to Beni Bazzar. Drive another 3 hours with or private car to Pokhara and transfer to Hotel. Evening walk at Lake Side.  

    • Day 10:Sightseeing Pokhara at morning, Late afternoon flight to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel

      Very early in the morning, before sunrise option to drive Sarankot to have panoramic mountain view and best sunrise. Spent morning time to visit at David falls, Gupteswor Mahadev cave, International mountain museum and boating at Fewa lake. Latter take flight back to Kathmandu. transfer to Hotel 

    • Day 11:Departure

      Free time up to your departure time. We drop you to International airport for our final departure. You normally have to reach airport before 3 hours of  your flight time.
