    Flight to Paro airport Bhutan

    First day flying from Kathmandu lands in Paro airport at early in the morning. There are other sectors flights reach at Paro but only flight from Kathmandu reach at morning time. It is important to reach at Paro early in the morning to get 2 full days sightseeing. Druk air and Bhutan airlines are operating flight from Kathmandu to Paro. After arriving in Bhutan, we drive Paro to Thimpu in this 3 days Bhutan tour.    

    Place to visit in Thimpu

    Visit National textile Museum which is good place to see traditional weaving being kept alive. Tashichho Dzong builds in 1641 by Zhabdrung Nwawang Namgyal is office of the king, office of ministries of home affairs and finance and office of head monk of Bhutan. Dzong is rich in Bhutanese architectures. Another visit is to School of traditional painting of arts and crafts in central Thimpu. We also can explore local craft market which is one stop place to witness Bhutanese culture, their arts and architectures. Handmade crafts are collection of all 20 district of Bhutan. There are other interesting places to Visit in Thimpu if time permits or as per your interest; our guide will lead you there.   

    Place to visit in Paro

    Our main goal to visit in this tour is Paro Tiger Nest. It is also called Taktsang Monastery. it is climb up about 2 hours with normal walking to reach. It is believed that Guru Rinpoche from eastern Bhutan flew on the back of Tiger and medicated at the cave for 3 months, it was a story of 8th century. Tiger Nest is the glory of Bhutan. One the way returning from Tiger Nest, visit Kichu temple which is one for the 108 temples built in 7th century.

    Bhutan visa

    Every foreigner should apply Bhutan visa through registered travel agencies. We only need your valid passport copy by email. Make sure you are travelling with the same passport you provided us for the visa approval. You will get boarding pass with Bhutan visa approval. Once you arrive in Paro airport, immigration of Bhutan will stamp original visa in your passport. Your visa valid will be up to your travel date. Foreigners cannot stay longer than your itinerary.  

    Best time to visit and best way to reach Bhutan

    The best way to travel Bhutan is from Kathmandu Nepal. There are daily flights from Kathmandu Tribhuban international airport to Bhutan paro airport. Royal Bhutanese airlines Druk air and private Bhutan Airlines is flying in these sectors. Bhutan has rules of talking package tour only. Royal government of Bhutan is control system of tourist. Tourist can reach there by buying package tour before reaching there with government approved registered companies. Those months are considered as main season. December to February is considered as low season, the cold season but still nice to visit.       At the morning, arrive at paro airport. Our guide will receive you. Have tea coffee at restaurant and start driving to Thimpu. It is 1 and half hour driving. Visit Tashichho Dzong builds in 1641,  School of traditional painting of arts and crafts center, Buddha statue at the top of Thimpu valley. Evening walking at local craft center. Dinner and Overnight at Hotel. 

    • Day 02:Drive to Paro and Hike to Tiger Nest. Evening visit at Paro. Overnight at Hotel in Paro

      After your breakfast in Hotel, drive back to Paro. Start hiking tour to Tiger Nest, Glory of Bhutan. It takes 2 hours hiking uphills to reach Tiger Nest. Exploration and get back same way to Paro which is about 5 hours time. Come back and visit Kichu temple which is one for the 108 temples built in 7th century. Tranfer to Hotel in paro. Dinner and overnight   

    • Day 03:Departure

      It is morning flight to depart from Paro airport. you have to be at the airport at least 2 hours before from flight time. guide and driver will drop you to the airport.

    Accommodations including in the tour cost is in 3 star category hotels. Clients can choose to stay at 4 star or 5 star hotels in Bhutan with additional cost. 3 star hotels and above are approved and certify by Bhutan Tourism Council.   

    Foods and Drinks

    All the foods are including in the tour cost. There will be typical Bhutanese buffet foods every time in every restaurant. We only choose those restaurants which are approved by Bhutan Tourist Council. Bottled mineral water is served by our guide every time. Tea coffee during your meal is in package. Accept that, bar bills are not including in the cost.

    Bhutanese Guide and Drive are staffs in this tour. They are friendly English speaking. Guide is experience, informatics in culture, peoples, nature of Bhutan. we also can provide multi language guide as per demand. 

    Bhutan Tour is full board package tour. If you are a single want to make Bhutan tour, single supplementary cost apply as USD 30 per night. If you are at least 2 peoples, that cost will be safe. 3 pax or more than 3 pax cost will be less (discount) Please let us know.

    Bhutan tour package do not need any group joining. Even single person tour can be arranged as per clients’ interest. Single supplementary charge of USD 30 per person per night is extra if you are only a single. If you want to safe single supplementary charge, you can join our group tour.

    Documents and procedure of Bhutan visa and Bhutan Tour booking

    We need your colored passport scan copy by email forto issue your Bhutan visa approval. Bhutan visa approval can send by email. Once you reach at Bhutan airport, Bhutanese immigration will stamp your Bhutan visa on your passport accordingly theof issued approval. Printed approval is important to carry with you. Additional documents are your picture by email and copy of travel insurance. Tour booking amount can be send us by online credit card payment system, or wire transfer to our bank account.

    The best time of Bhutan Tour is from March to May and September to November. Month of late April and May is blooming time in Bhutan. Rhododendrons bloom spectacularly. Month of October to December is another ideal time to visit Bhutan. Air is clear and fresh with sunny sky. January to February is cold season and late June till august is raining season.
